Education Through Movement

The ‘International Dance Festival’ in its 18th year promotes Education Through Movement ‘ by inviting 7 dance companies from around the world . Starting off with the Kolban dance company from Israel 10 strong incredible dancers collaborate with 50 Thai semi professional dancers in the production of “On the Edge” Follow by the Triple Bill performance an award winning contemporary dance production of “Two Doors” by Na Hoon Park , South Korea , our Thai Professional Dancer who just return to Bangkok after spending 8 years working in comtemporary dance company in Singapore. Dance companies from Malaysia , Maxico and Taiwan. Returning to Thailand for the 2nd time from popular demand T.H.E. dance company from Singapore.

Our outstanding young Thai dancers will compete with teenagers from Europe and Asia in the SOLO Dance Competition on Nov 24 to win the scholarships from leading dance institutes in Europe and Asia such as Stage arcachon (France) National Conservatory Dance School, (Lisbon) London Studio CentreETC. During the festival all the artistic directors of the dance companies will share their experiences in the post production talk after the performance.

‘Education through Movement’ offers:30 workshops (and master classes): for dance students up to professional level. 4 Months free workshop from contemporary dance to Bollywood at Benjasiri park.
