Solo Dance Competition
Bi Annual Dance Competition
Objectives:
To offer opportunity for young dancers who wish to become professional dancer to win the local and international scholarships through dance competition and job in the dance companies abroad.
To promote dance education in Thailand to the international standard.
To create a platform for international and local dancers/choreographers/dance companies to network and opportunity to exchange and/or collaborate both in Thailand and abroad.
To encourage young talent dancer to have the opportunity to further their dance training in the professional environment at various renown dance institutes around the world. The uniqueness of this Solo Dance Competition is the candidate has to the best of their ability to win the scholarship. The winner of each scholarship is from the judge or dance institute’s representative’s choice.
Qualification
Solo Dance in these following styles:
Classical ballet
Contemporary dance
Street / hip hop
musical theatre
Male and female 10-12 years old (first category)
13-15 (second category)
15+ (third category)
The duration of the Solo dance not exceed 1.5 min.
