“Holding Space” is an evening length concert consisting of individual dance works from acclaimed past performances “Beyond This Moment” (2012), “Home” (2015) and Dana Lawton Dances’ most recent 10 year anniversary season (2017). The work spans the emotional spectrum from poignant, sentimental dances to lighthearted romps. The 10 member multi-generational company highlights the unique perspective of the rich multiplicity of human lives, provides the audience a new perspective on what constitutes a dancer, and inspires people to reimagine what is possible at any age.
